TEC needs a lot of things in order to be successful. There are many ways to volunteer some of these ways are to:

• Be a Team Member

• Pray for a TEC weekend, team members, weekender

• Make Placemats

Placemats are one of the most important things at the dinner table. It provides a clean place to put your dishes and also marks a spot to sit. These placemats are made from ordinary paper, the 11 X 17 variety. There is also a progression.

• Donation of Food or Snacks

In order to help keep costs down on a weekend, we would certainly welcome food donations. Certain items are always needed no matter the TEC weekend: fresh fruit and vegetables, cheese, butter, milk, cereal, bread, muffins juice. Otherwise, if you have a specific thought in mind, please contact the adult advisor for the weekend and they will get you in contact with the kitchen team. The kitchen team will supply you with ideas for items to be donated

Snack Table Items:  Like breakfast lunch and dinner, a snack table is available throughout the weekend. You can help stock this snack table with both healthy and sugary treats. If you have any questions about what is needed please contact the adult advisor for the weekend.

• Come to the Agape Dinner 

We need people to help volunteer with several things at the agape dinner. Some of these include, food preparation, decorating the dining hall, serenading team and weekenders, serving team and weekenders, and clean up. As you may also be aware, if you come to the agape dinner to help, you can now stay for the first part of the dance too

• Come to the closing worship service

Coming to the closing worship service, similar to coming to the agape dinner, helps to show the weekenders just how large and supportive our TEC community is.

• Come to the reunion
• Come to a TEC council meeting

Please join us at a TEC council meeting and offer us your thoughts and opinions. We want your voice to be heard. We meet three times a year on a Sunday afternoon, at Elim Lutheran Church in West Duluth. Dates can be found on the calendar portion of this website.

•  Serve on TEC council
